Mark started writing in 2008 after reading the Harry Potter stories by JK Rowling. He is an avid reader of paranormal fantasy and romance, mostly the books his wife reads first (and three times as fast) on her Kindle. After reading several vampire books, he started getting ideas about writing as-yet-untold vampire stories.
Several authors in the paranormal fantasy genre inspire him, and some in the romance genre as well. Stories with troubled characters who overcome adversity by being persistent and forming relationships that transcend expectation are his favorites.
Mark is the organizer for a local group of over 190 writers and arranges monthly meetings with various presenters.
Mark lives with his loving and patient wife Susan, sons Jared and Cody (Zack is off at grad school making them proud), a beagle, a bijon-poo, and a pair of cats.
